ERROR: Cannot connect license service

WEBCON BPS Studio always checks the license on the program running. When it is unable to connect license service you will not be able to work. Below is the error statement:

Below is a list of steps you should check:

Firstly let’s eliminate obvious reason – make sure, the server which is running WEBCON is connected to the Internet
Check WebCon WorkFlow Service is running. Maybe it did not start after a server reboot or stopped for other reasons
If you running WEBCON Designer Studio from another terminal than WEBCON server, make sure that TCP network traffic is not blocked on port 8002. WEBCON is communicating on this port. You may go add new Inbound role. To do that go Control Panel -> System and Security -> Windows Firewall -> Advanced Settings. Click “New inbound Rule” and configure it allowing to connection n TCP 8002 port
